Psychotherapy to Individuals, Couples/Families, & Groups:

I am now accepting psychotherapy clients on a space available basis.  All fees are due at the time of your appointment unless other arrangements are made with me in advance.  Services may be covered by your health insurance or other benefit plan (See below for additional information).  

Specialty areas:

  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR; information)
  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Posttraumatic stress (PTSD), trauma, & interpersonal violence
  • Chemical dependency issues
  • Adjustment issues (e.g., career/life changes/health problems)
  • Grief & loss
  • Relationship/partnership/family/parenting issues
  • Sexual orientation, coming out, & intimacy issues
  • Men’s issues

Psychological Assessment:

Objective personality assessment (using MMPI-2, Personality Assessment Instrument, Trauma Symptom Inventory, and similar instruments), cognitive assessment (e.g., intellectual functioning, attention, memory, problem-solving, language skills, etc.), ADHD/ADD screenings/evaluations, disability assessments & consultation on testing administered by other psychologists.  

Consultation:  

I am also available to consult about: Treatment-related issues (e.g., diagnostic clarification, treatment planning, self-care, countertransference issues, etc.); Psychological testing, interpretation, etc.; Professional issues (e.g., dissertations, manuscript proofing & editing, early-career issues, licensure preparation & process, etc.
Cancellation Policy:

If you do not show up for your appointment and you do not provide me with a 24-hour notice, you will be required to pay the full cost of the scheduled session/service. Missed sessions cannot be billed to your insurance.

Payment:

Cash, check, & credit cards are accepted for payment. I am a preferred provider for the following insurance companies/organizations:

  • First Choice Health 
  • Labor & Industries (L&I)
  • Lifewise
  • Matrix EAP
  • Molina Healthcare
  • Premera Blue Cross







Other insurance companies may cover services at the non-network provider fee; please check with your provider for individual coverage rates.

Please check with your health insurance provider prior to your initial appointment.   You may wish to ask the following questions: 

  • Does my plan cover mental health services?
  • How many sessions are covered?
  • Must I go to a network provider? If I go to a non-network provider, how much does my plan cover?
  • Do I need to be pre-approved in order to use my mental health benefits?
  • What is my deductable; has it been met?
